• Senior Member (40216993) of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc USA (IEEE), also member of:
  • IEEE Power Engineering Society,
  • IEEE Power Electronics Society,
  • IEEE Industrial Applications Society, and
  • IEEE Education Society.
• With Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (USA), IEEE currently he is a Senior Member and globally he is the IEEE PES Section-Chapter Relation Officer (2010-now). He is the Past Chair of Malaysia Section (2005-2007); Past Secretary (2002) and Vice-Chair (2003-2004); and Past-Chair of IEEE Power Engineering Society Malaysia Chapter (2000-2003). He has also served IEEE at global level as was IEEE MGA Admission and Advancement Committee Member (2011), IEEE MGA Geographic Unit Support Committee (2010), and Asia Pacific Region IEEE Executive Committee member (2007-2010).
