Biography:
Dr. Noman Naseer is originally a Mechatronics Engineer, who did his Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. all in Mechatronics Engineering. His Ph.D. research was supported by the World Class University program funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology through the National Research Foundation of Korea. Dr. Naseer has published 52 peer-reviewed papers and has received around 900 citations from all around the globe. Reference to his contributions in the field of functional near-infrared spectroscopy-based brain-computer interfaces, his biography was featured in the 32nd edition of Who’s who in the world, Berkeley, USA as a notable international researcher. In 2017, he was given Albert Nelson life time achievement award by Marquis, Berkeley, USA. He has served as reviewer of above 45 SCI Indexed journals and is serving as Editorial board member of 3 SCI indexed journals. Dr. Naseer also has an honor to be selected as a Marie-Curie Post-Doctorate fellow. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor and the head of Neurorobotics research group in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Air University, Islamabad. His current research interests include: Brain-Robot interfacing, robotics, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, non-linear control systems and machine vision.
