The International Conference on Sustainable Information Engineering and Technology (SIET) is held to bring together academia, researchers, business entrepreneurs, practitioners, and policymakers who are responsible for applying information engineering and technology by leveraging intelligent computing to create and enabling a smart environment. The pandemic COVID-19 has transformed many aspects of our live. Mckinsey reports that COVID-19 has speeded the adoption of digital technologies by several years—and that many of these changes could be here for the long haul. During the pandemic, consumers have move dramatically to online channels. We now also are more familiar with working from home than before. It brings opportunities and also challenges.
Thus, based on such an issue, the theme for SIET 2022 will be "Embracing digital transformation in the post-pandemic era: challenges, applications, and opportunities".
